Hey everyone, we had the opportunity to shoot Brian’s senior photos this past Saturday.  Brian loves football and is apart of the Lynden High Lions who won the state championship last year.  We had a fun time shooting his pictures out at his grandparents beautiful property and wish him the best for his Senior year.  Be sure to click, they get bigger. Bellingham Photographer – Pacific Northwest Life Series

August 18, 2013

We are proud to present the first in our Pacific Northwest Life series: Rain.  Rain is a staple feature of our region but one thing in particular stood out to us about it, people don’t use umbrellas.

After getting the idea and building the rain machine back in February we only needed 3 things: a private asphalt driveway, a lovely Pacific Northwest couple, and some balmy weather.  The first two would be easier to come by, the latter only time could bring to us.

We want to thank Isabel Rodriguez for doing a great job on the makeup, thank you to Mark for letting us invade your property and of course a big thanks to Marcus and Stacie for letting us soak them for a couple of hours.

Make sure you click, they get bigger!  Stay tuned for the next in the series: Outdoor People

Photo Lush Workshop

Pssst…click, they get bigger.

This weekend heralded Bellingham’s first multi-day photography workshop. It was a blast.  Having the opportunity to meet and  hang out with lots of other talented area photogs was great. The workshop included great speakers covering everything from taxes to photoshop.  The weekend ended with Lyle Jansma of Jansma Design setting up a light painting session with a T-6 Texan warbird, pretty sweet.  Here are a couple photos from a quick session we had with the lovely Kristen who was so brave for sitting out there for an hour in the cold weather. Enjoy!

Love never gets old

January 15, 2013

Aaron and Sarah

I was going through some old shoots when I was first starting out and came across this one of Aaron and Sarah. Aaron had just said something funny to Sarah as she was trying to pose for the camera and then she started cracking up. Gotta love it.

P.S. Portrait Sessions are 25% off right now, but you have to mention this post(It’s a secret)

Ride On!

One thing I like about photography is the ability to take a concept from the whiteboard to the studio floor.  The Pacific Northwest is big on outdoor stuff, especially biking. I wanted to combine a conceptual element of swirling lights with some portrait shots I had envisioned. My friend Isaac loves biking and was more than willing to help me out.  Enjoy the photos!

David Farkas – Climber/Guide

In August of 2011 I checked off an item on my bucket list, climb a mountain. I’ve always been an avid backpacker/hiker and decided it was time to step up and take it to the next level. I signed up with the American Alpine Institute in Bellingham, a world renown climbing organization, to do a 3 day skills and climb.  David Farkas was my main guide on the trip and couldn’t have done a better job of teaching and guiding us up  and down the mountain.

David had since left the area to guide elsewhere but returned long enough for us to do a little portrait session at Artist Point. I had a great time photographing David and hope to climb again with him in the future. Enjoy the photos!

Addison – Newborn Photography Bellingham,WA

October 13, 2012

I had the privilege of photographing Dane & Jahnel’s adorable baby Addison a couple weeks back. Do kids get much cuter than this? This was my first shoot since the accident and shooting on crutches was quite the challenge, but we made it work! Enjoy the pics.

Make sure you Click. They look sharper.

Hey everybody, my good friends Julie and Matt are having a baby in the next day or two. I was having coffee with Matt today and he’s like “hey, I don’t suppose you could take a few pictures of us today?”  Yeah man, of course! They got dressed up real quick and we headed down to Whatcom Falls Park. Here’s a few pics from their session. Aren’t those two great?
